1. About PujaKaaj
PujaKaaj is an online platform where customers can request Hindu puja services and related consultations with Pandits. In-person services may be available in Delhi, and online services are offered where the selected puja and provider support them. The service format and scope shown for a booking apply to that request.
PujaKaaj helps coordinate booking requests and connect customers with available service providers. A listing or platform review is not a promise of a particular religious result, personal outcome, or uninterrupted service.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the website, creating an account, or submitting a booking or consultation request, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant website or booking feature.
Service-specific details shown during booking or in a confirmation form part of the arrangement for that booking. If a specific written confirmation differs from these general Terms, the booking-specific details apply to that service to the extent permitted by law.
3. Eligibility and account responsibilities
You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement under the laws that apply to you. An adult parent or legal guardian should make and manage a booking on behalf of a child and remain responsible for the child’s participation.
Keep your sign-in details private, provide accurate account information, and use your account only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Contact PujaKaaj promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it or if your account information needs correction.
4. Puja booking process
A booking request may ask you to provide the puja, service format, requested date and time or Muhurat preference, location, contact details, and any relevant instructions. Review these details before submitting the request.
Submitting a request does not by itself guarantee availability or confirm a booking. PujaKaaj may contact you to clarify details or confirm the scope, price, provider availability, and any service requirements. Follow the booking status and instructions shown on the website or sent through the contact details you provided.
5. Online and in-person services
In-person Puja services may be offered in Delhi in the areas shown as available for the selected service. Online Puja services may be offered from other locations where the selected Puja and assigned provider support an online format. Availability can vary by Puja, date, provider, and location.
For an online service, you are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection, and access to any meeting link or communication method provided. For an in-person service, the booking address and any access instructions must be accurate. A service is limited to the format and scope described in its listing or confirmation.
6. Pandit assignment and confirmation
In the normal booking flow, customers do not directly select a particular Pandit. PujaKaaj or its administrator assigns an available Pandit who appears suitable for the requested Puja, location, time, and service format. Preferences or requirements submitted by a customer may be considered but do not guarantee a specific assignment.
Where acceptance by the assigned Pandit is required, the booking is confirmed after that Pandit accepts and the other booking requirements shown to you are completed. If the Pandit is unavailable or does not accept, PujaKaaj may contact you about another suitable option or the next steps. Do not treat a request as confirmed until the website or PujaKaaj confirms it.
7. Service availability
Listings, dates, service areas, and providers are subject to change and availability. A service shown on the website may not be available for every date, location, or format. PujaKaaj may correct an error, update a listing, or pause a service where reasonably needed, subject to applicable law and any confirmed booking.
A booking request is not a guarantee that a Pandit, specific time, or service format will be available. PujaKaaj will communicate material changes that affect a confirmed booking and coordinate next steps with you.
8. Puja pricing and additional charges
The price and included scope shown for a selected service apply to the booking as described. Items such as Puja Samagri, travel, special materials, extra rituals, or other requirements are included only when the listing or booking confirmation says so.
If a change to the requested scope or location may add a charge, PujaKaaj or the service provider should explain the amount and reason before you agree to proceed with that change. Review the final amount shown or communicated for your booking before making payment. No additional service should be treated as agreed unless you accept it.
9. Payments and payment confirmation
Use the payment method and instructions shown for your booking. The website may record the selected payment method and payment status. A booking is not confirmed solely because a payment instruction was started; check the booking confirmation and status shown by PujaKaaj.
If a third-party payment option or gateway is made available for a transaction, that provider may process the payment under its own terms and privacy practices. PujaKaaj does not currently identify an integrated payment gateway in the standard booking flow. Never share your UPI PIN, one-time password, card security code, or banking password through PujaKaaj chat, email, or with a Pandit.
If a payment appears to have succeeded but the booking status does not update, contact support with the booking reference and payment confirmation available to you. Do not send sensitive payment credentials.
10. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refunds
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund requests are governed by PujaKaaj’s separate Cancellation & Refund Policy. Please refer to that policy for the applicable process and terms. This page does not set refund percentages, request deadlines, or processing periods.
If you cannot find the separate policy in the website or your booking communications, contact support before assuming that a booking change or refund has been accepted. A request is not complete until PujaKaaj confirms the applicable next step. Statutory rights under applicable law continue to apply.
11. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for giving complete and correct information for the booking and promptly telling PujaKaaj if it changes. This includes your name, phone or email, address, city and location, requested date and time, and any instructions relevant to the service.
For an in-person service, provide a safe, clean, and reasonably accessible environment for the agreed Puja. Make sure the Pandit can enter the location at the agreed time, and arrange appropriate adult supervision where a child or vulnerable person is involved. Treat Pandits and support staff respectfully and follow reasonable safety instructions.
12. Pandit and service provider responsibilities
The assigned Pandit is responsible for delivering the agreed ritual or service with reasonable care, professionalism, and respect for the customer’s stated requirements. A Pandit should communicate material schedule changes, follow applicable law and safety requirements, and treat customer information confidentially.
Pandit profiles may be reviewed under PujaKaaj’s current administrative process. A profile, approval, or verification status reflects only the checks actually performed; it is not a guarantee of identity, credentials, conduct, availability, service quality, or a particular outcome. Nothing in these Terms removes any responsibility imposed by applicable law.
13. Muhurat consultation
A Muhurat consultation provides religious or calendrical guidance based on the information supplied and the method or Panchang used by the consultant. You are responsible for checking that names, dates, birth details, location, and time zone information you provide are correct.
Muhurat guidance is informational and may vary between traditions, consultants, or calculation methods. It is not a guarantee of an event’s success, safety, health, financial result, or other spiritual or practical outcome. You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to act on the guidance.
14. Puja Samagri and service-specific requirements
Check the service listing or booking confirmation to see whether Puja Samagri is included, supplied by the Pandit, or to be arranged by you. The required items can vary by Puja, tradition, and the agreed scope. Do not assume that an item is included unless it is stated.
Tell PujaKaaj in advance about relevant access, dietary, allergy, or other practical requirements. If a requested change requires additional items or work, any additional charge should be explained and accepted before the change proceeds.
15. Delays and circumstances outside reasonable control
A service may be delayed or affected by traffic, severe weather, illness, connectivity or power problems, public restrictions, emergencies, or another circumstance outside reasonable control. The customer and Pandit should communicate promptly when possible, and PujaKaaj may help coordinate an update or next step.
If the service cannot proceed, any rescheduling or refund request will be handled under the separate Cancellation & Refund Policy and applicable law. This clause does not remove rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Prohibited use of the platform
You must not use PujaKaaj to break the law, mislead another person, interfere with the platform, or put another person at risk. In particular, you must not:
- Create an account using false details or impersonate another person.
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or harm a customer, Pandit, or support team member.
- Submit fraudulent booking or payment information, misuse another person’s account, or seek unauthorized access to data or systems.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or abusive material, or disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the website except where applicable law permits.
17. Intellectual property
The PujaKaaj name and logo, website design, text, graphics, and other platform materials belong to PujaKaaj or their respective rights holders. You may use the website for personal, lawful booking and information purposes. You may not copy, modify, publish, sell, or commercially exploit platform materials without permission, except as allowed by applicable law.
Names, marks, and content belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners. These Terms do not transfer ownership of a customer’s or Pandit’s own content to PujaKaaj.
18. Third-party services and payment providers
Some website features may rely on third-party services, such as authentication, messaging, mapping, video meetings, or payment providers. A provider may have separate terms, privacy practices, and availability. Where you use its service, review the provider’s terms and share only the information needed for that feature.
PujaKaaj does not control independent third-party systems and cannot promise that they will always be available or error-free. This does not limit any obligation PujaKaaj has under applicable law or its responsibility for its own services.
19. Limitation of liability
PujaKaaj will take reasonable steps to operate the website and coordinate the services described here. To the extent permitted by law, PujaKaaj is not responsible for an indirect or consequential loss arising from a temporary interruption, a third-party system, or an event outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer rights or liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or negligence where the law does not permit its exclusion. These Terms do not guarantee any religious, spiritual, personal, health, financial, or other result from a Puja or consultation.
20. Privacy and data handling
The Privacy Policy explains what information PujaKaaj collects, how it is used and shared to provide the website and services, and the choices available to you. By using the platform, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described there and under applicable law.
21. Changes to services or these Terms
PujaKaaj may update website features, listings, or these Terms as services or legal requirements change. The latest Terms will be posted on this page. Updates apply to use of the website and new booking requests from the time they are posted, except where applicable law requires a different result.
For a booking already confirmed, the service details confirmed for that booking continue to apply, subject to changes agreed with you, the separate Cancellation & Refund Policy, and applicable law. Please review the Terms when making a new booking.
22. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by courts or consumer forums that have jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing here takes away a consumer’s right to approach a forum or authority available under applicable law.
23. Contact and grievance support
For a question, booking concern, or complaint about these Terms or a service, contact PujaKaaj using the support details currently listed on the Contact page. Include your booking reference where relevant and avoid sending passwords or payment credentials.
